Our Story
From our first meeting in January 2017, an instant connection sparked into a profound partnership. As doulas, we discovered our shared vision extended far beyond professional collaboration. Our differences create a perfect balance, complementing each other's strengths, while our core approach to doula work remains deeply aligned. We share an unwavering dedication and heartfelt mission to transform families' birth & postpartum experiences, supporting them through one of life's most meaningful transitions.
As we worked together, we noticed a significant gap in our community: personalized, face-to-face support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Instead of waiting for someone else to fill this need, we decided to create the solution ourselves.
On April 10, 2019, Indiana Birth & Parenting was born. Then, in February 2025, we updated our name to Indiana Birth & Postpartum to truly reflect who we serve.
We've carefully crafted our approach to ensure every family receives truly personalized care. Our well-structured company model combines professional expertise with heartfelt support, while our collective experience as doulas ensures exceptional service. At IBP, you'll never be just another client…you'll be part of our extended family.

In August 2020, our company grew as we welcomed additional doulas to the Indiana Birth & Postpartum team. Since then, our IBP family has blossomed, bringing even more caring support to growing families across Indiana. Just as we tell our clients, the right doula enhances your birth and postpartum experience. Our team members bring their own unique warmth and expertise, enriching both our company and the families they serve with compassionate, unbiased, and professional care.
